Today another fallen soldier, he only 20 years old coming from nearby here and it is a heartbreaking bit of news. Bill Richardson saying our troops are just targets in Iraq & he is right but few have the guts to say that in politics. Many civilized people where brave men and women step forth to correct bad situations. Let America speak for itself and let the ungodly elements find their place out of the way. 60 Minutes reported on the Iowa National Guard service serving in Iraq with 2 dead and about 21 wounded. They went over for one year but their time was extended by 4 months and now according to the report they have been there for 2 years and still have 2 months to go. Who will plow the cornfields while they risk their lives serving escorting Cheney's Halliburton convoys so they can make billions. These Guardsmen literally put their lives down on the road to take the explosives rather than the convoys risking their destruction. CBS 60 Minutes has followed this unit since they were drafted in to serve, now many of them are having second thoughts about their patriotism. What a shame and disgrace this war has taken on a battle 1400 years old and more even back to Abraham and the battle between Isaac and Ishmael which we cannot win. Books entitled 'A Bloody War', Killer Elite, War Dog, Market for War competing with the book on Blackwater 400 pages and its sister entitled Licensed to Kill are among so-called best sellers in the book industry of today. These books seem to promote the notion of renegade security making a $1,000 per day. Good if you live a month of days. This army accounts to no one for their many crimes. I feel no debt obligation to credit card companies since they charge excessive interest. I also find them crooked for example when I shipped art to Australia on a credit card some one gave me on an e-mail but it was not in the correct name of the credit card owner, they knew that but allowed it to be transacted anyway and I lost the shipment plus freight cost.
